Coverage, stated plainly

The file covers 843 dockets: 320 CON applications, modifications, waivers and emergency CONs filed or decided from January 2016 through October 27, 2026, and 523 determinations. Dates, costs and conditions come from the decision and settlement documents on the state's CON portal; 2016 and 2017 come from the archived Office of Health Strategy (OHS) decision and application lists, which miss some withdrawn applications from those years. OHS ran the program from 2018 to June 30, 2026. Public Act 26-68 moved it to the Department of Public Health on July 1, 2026, and the docket numbers and the portal carry on.

  • Determinations are rulings on whether a project needs a CON. Most count under Not reviewed or other in the outcomes, and the Decision column gives the ruling.
  • Filer town is the mailing town the filer typed on the portal, not always the project site.
